Why I am doing this!

So many of you know that I have began the stages of building a carreer. It's nothing like I had in mind, and I didn't want it at first, I wanted to be somewhere else away from home... But it just didn't work out that way! I work at a rehab and nursing center. I am working with activities, and also family services, and assments of patients. I ABSOLUTLY love my job sofar.. It's been filled with learning and such! :)
Every day I am around people of all ages. The facility houses short term stay patience, as well as lifetime patients. There are people who are perfectly fine, some with dementia, short term memory loss and so on. I am around a whole lot of people every single day so the stories are always so random and funny. Each day I have left work with some kind of funny story that has happened so I figured this would be a easy way for people to read and enjoy my stories as much as I do.
I will not put names of patients, I will use either He, or She, or make up code names! :) and sometimes I will just put quotes, and not explain what happened. haha

The first day I was there.. walking down the hall trying to find my way back to the frot office, and all of a sudden this lady jumped up at me from a wheelchair and asked if I wanted to kiss her baby.. needless to say she almost got punched..

A lady with severe short term memory loss who always is "needing" something was being evaluated by me one day this week, and she told me she liked hunting, and I kinda giggle, and she said that if I was her daughter she would give me a spanking. Then 5 min later, she was telling me how pretty I was, and how she loved me.

Robin- Since your wearing a santa clause hat are you his special helper this year?
She - No, I have to do all the work this year
Robin - well why is that?
She _ well I shot him.
Robin- why in the world would you want to shoot Santa clause
She - well last year he came through the chimney, and it scared me and it made me S*** my pants, so I shot him.


"I think you need to give me another cookie so I can like 50 years longer"

Stranger - So who is this lady
Man- SH'es my girlfriend
Stranger- oh really? isn't she to young?
Man- nope, shes going to be the next anna nicole.


" why didn't you go on my trip to africa this morning to see the lions with me, they were real pretty"

" That woman has the devil in her, didn't you see that look.. she's pure evil."
